a world that kept turning; out of control out of my mind; nowhere to go life just a blur of radiance and regret focus never offered; but everything taken eyes forced shut; to rid them of the blear veil of haunted humor; equally blinding no reprieve from turmoil emptiness as the mass still grows engulfing the last of me with it space so vast; but so empty yet crowded in ignorance; mobbed by lack of empathy they are all too near; I see just one clearly who was once also dim now shines bright unexpected; remarkable in their anguish clarity for the likes of strangers; similarities unforeseen a gaze converges onto another unalike; but understanding of compassion familiar and broken; while still so unknown a world that kept turning the two of us let it go out of control *
